McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance

McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance

Families who are currently experiencing fixed, regular or adequate residence could receive assistance under the McKinney-Vento Act. The McKinney-Vento Act aims to remove barriers to education for homeless children and youth and promote school stability during times of housing instability. It emphasizes the importance of keeping homeless students in their schools of origin whenever possible and providing the necessary support to ensure their academic success.
