My family moved to Filer when I was in the 6th grade. I went to Filer Middle School and graduated from Filer High School. After high school I went to Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas where I earned an Associate’s degree. I then went to Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where I earned a Bachelor’s degree. I have been working with children in a variety of settings since the 8th grade. I have taught Head Start, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and a 3rd/4th grade combination. I enjoy reading to my students and as a hobby.
