I am a passionate reader and I guess that's why I chose to be an English teacher. I loved reading and discussing our assigned books in college and I want to pass that passion onto my students. Another big part of English is writing and I believe anyone can get better at writing as long as they read. So, in my class, our curriculum goes hand in hand. I love being the dual credit English teacher and really challenging and preparing my students for higher education. I also am the creative writing teacher and it is my favorite part of the day. Being able to help my students creatively express themselves is so much fun!
